7-18 Aug. 2017, 15th International Dengue Course: New challenges for Zika and Chikungunya, Havana, Cuba.
The course will offer a space for updates and debate on the epidemiological situation of Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya on both a global and regional scale. Topics of interest: clinical management of patients, vector control, advances in pathogenesis research, vaccines, antivirals, individual genetics, viruses and vectors, new control tools, influence of climatic change conditions in the emergence of diseases transmitted by mosquitoes of the genus Aedes, and the confrontation of outbreaks, before the new scenario of co-circulation of arboviruses. The new international initiatives and their impact on the emerging control of arbovirosis will be shared.

ISAAR is the most representative international meeting on antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases in the Asia-Pacific region, which has been hosted by the Asia Pacific Foundation for Infectious Diseases (APFID) since 1997. ICIC has been hosted by the Korean Society of Infectious Diseases (KSID) and 11 domestic academic societies since 2013 to strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration on infectious disease both domestically and internationally.

These congresses will provide a room for updating, exchange experiences and knowledge on the role of the microbiology and parasitology in addressing infectious diseases, emerging and re-emerging and neglected tropical diseases. Zika, dengue and other arbovirus diseases, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, cholera, influenza, microbial resistance, capacity strengthening, and globalization of infectious diseases and others will be important topics for discussion. The historical background of the Cuban microbiology and parasitology as well as the development of the Institute of Tropical Medicine is these 80 years will be showed.
Pre-congresses courses will be held on Monday 4, 2017 at the Institute of Tropical Medicine "Pedro Kouri", IPK.

The 18th ICID will encompass all of the fields of infectious diseases with particular attention being paid to the major challenges of the region including Zika, dengue and other related viral infections, AIDS, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and enteric and parasitic infections. ISID has been at the forefront of the One Health movement and this will be reflected in the meeting which will also have a major focus on disease prevention and vaccine implementation. ISID meetings are distinguished by their unique blend of basic science and clinical practice.

Join the One Health research and policy community at the 5th International One Health Congress, which will be held in Saskatoon, Canada, on 22 - 25 June 2018. The 5th International One Health Congress is organized by the One Health Platform and the University of Saskatchewan, in close cooperation with the Southern African Centre for Infectious Disease Surveillance (SACIDS). Special attention will go to antimicrobial resistance, translational science, and recent advances in the fields of zoonoses and emerging infectious diseases.
